Distemper: Can kill your puppy. Early signs are fever, decreased appetite, weakness. It attacks the brain & spinal cord.

Canine Hepatitis: Primarily affects the liver...Kidney damage.Transmitted between dogs by direct contact with infected urine, feces, and other secretions.Signs are abdominal pain, weakness, depression.

Parainfluenza & Adenovirus: both cause respiratory tract disease involving the trachea and lungs. Signs are a harsh cough & loss of appetite. These viruses are airborne & highly contagious.

Parvovirus: Attacks cells lining the intestinal tract causing severe vomiting & watery/bloody diarrhea. High death rate among puppies.

Leptospirosis: Bacterial disease that can be contagious to humans. Kidney damage, sterility & more. The vaccine our vet gives protects against 4 strains of lepto.

Rabies:Found in wildlife, bats, foxes, skunks. Dogs can have furious rabies-excitability and irritablility or dumb rabies- paralysis & tranquility. All infected dogs die. Virus is transmitted in the saliva through a bite wound or through a break in the skin.

Lyme disease:Commonly transmitted by a nasty tick bite.

Heartworm disease: Transmitted by nasty mosquito.... the parasites live in the heart, is life threatening.

Kennel cough: Contagious respiratory disease.
The GSD's we raise/breed come from working lines...smart, strong and beautiful! GSD's are active, most would appreciate a job to perform daily & regular exercise, tying him out in the yard or ignoring him in a kennel is cruel & it will not work.... as it will create a very destructive, lonely, frustrated and bored dog. German Shepherds require companionship from their family. Please, before you decide to purchase a GSD, make sure you have the time and energy it takes to raise a German Shepherd. They make excellent family companions! They should be able to participate in various disciplines. The working lines are not bred to win in the show ring. Good examples of any bloodline should show sound temperament, hopefully good health, intelligence, & trainability.
A $200 deposit is required to reserve a puppy. You can apply the deposit to any upcoming litter. You can pay thru PayPal, or mail in your deposit. The puppy must be paid in full before leaving our home. We do not accept personal checks.

We focus on temperament and health. Our pups are whelped indoors. We socialize our pups to everyday household noise. We believe in breeding quality German Shepherds with excellent bloodlines. At this time, we only have a few litters a year. Our dogs/pups are not kennel dogs. You can expect a healthy, happy, well socialized puppy with excellent temperament. As they get older, the pups get plenty of time outside in the fenced in 2 acres, for exploring & playing. Our pups are vet checked before leaving our home, you will receive the vet medical record with your new puppy, if you are local you can continue seeing our vet or you can take your pup to a new vet and give him the records. The pups will see the vet for the initial exam and vaccination, we order the rest of the vaccinations from Drs.Foster & Smith and administer them.Pups can go the their new home between 7-8 wks old.
